Country & Christmas - BRHS Auditorium

Three of Nashville's most talented performers bring a little taste of Music City to Alex City when they perform "Country & Christmas". Join Grammy-award winners Linda Davis, Lang Scott (The Scott Family) and Cheryl White (The Whites) as they usher in the Christmas season with a whole lot of down home appeal, hit songs and holiday favorites.

Davis' unique ability to interpret a song has made her one of Nashville's favorite vocalists and has won multiple awards throughout her career. She is probably best known for her Grammy-winning duet with Reba McEntire called "Does He Love You".

Scott has made multiple Grand Ole Opry appearances, served as guitarist and background vocalist for Reba McEntire, and written songs for numerous prominent recording artists. He and Davis have been married since 1984 and are the parents of Hillary and Rylee Scott. Hillary Scott is the female singer in the supergroup Lady Antebellum.

White is truly a part of Country and Bluegrass Music Royalty and a top-notch instrumentalist on the upright bass. As a 30-year member of the Grand Ole Opry, Cheryl has sung on countless albums and won Grammy's for The White's recording of "Keep On The Sunnyside" on the Oh Brother, Where Art Thou movie soundtrack.

Audiences can expect to hear some familiar tunes as well as the seasonal classics that will warm their hearts and leave them on their feet and in the holiday mood.
